In 2003, a small group of forest industry professionals founded PFS with the vision of creating a new type of harvest / haul supplier. Their background in the global forest industry gave them a unique perspective on the challenges faced by both mill customers and landowners in the Southeastern US. They understood that by forming strategic partnerships with customers who shared their vision of transforming the traditional wood supply chain, they could reach their goal of becoming the premier harvest /haul supplier in the Southeast.
